SaaS Development Company in India

Multi-tenant SaaS products built in Dehradun for Indian SMBs and global buyers, with Indian billing, compliance and network conditions handled properly.

SaaS Development for India

SaaS Development, built around how India works

Indian SaaS founders build for two markets: Indian SMBs who want low prices, Hindi support, UPI payments and GST invoices, and global customers who expect card billing, SOC 2 answers and English-first products. The architecture decisions for each are different, and getting billing and compliance right early saves painful rewrites. Nexzem builds SaaS products from Dehradun, and we also run our own SaaS products, NexEats, NexChat, NexEduHub and NexCall.

We usually start with a minimum viable product that proves people will pay, then scale into a multi-tenant platform with admin tools, analytics and integrations. Our MVP development page explains how we decide what goes into the first release.

Billing for Indian customers

Subscription billing in India runs through Razorpay Subscriptions, Cashfree or similar platforms, using UPI AutoPay and card e-mandates. RBI rules require customer authentication for setting up mandates and for recurring charges above a set limit, so retry and notification logic has to follow them. Invoices need GST with the right CGST, SGST or IGST split by customer location, and B2B invoices go through e-invoicing once your turnover crosses the threshold. This is general information, not legal advice.

Built for SMB users across India

Indian SMB users often run the product on a phone, on a shared office computer or over a weak connection. We keep pages light, design mobile layouts for core tasks, offer Hindi and regional language options and send key alerts on WhatsApp, where customers actually read them.

  • Mobile-first dashboards for owners and managers
  • WhatsApp and SMS notifications through approved templates
  • Tally, Zoho Books and GST portal integrations where relevant
  • Data stored in Indian cloud regions

DPDP compliance and selling abroad

Under the DPDP Act, your SaaS is typically a data processor for customer data and a data fiduciary for its own user data, which affects contracts, consent and breach handling. We build consent records, access and deletion tools and breach detection into the platform. If you also sell abroad, we add per-tenant hosting regions and the controls that SOC 2 and GDPR reviews look for.

SaaS Development in India, answered

Something else on your mind? Ask a consultant and get a reply within one business day.

How do we collect recurring payments in India for a SaaS product?

Use a payment gateway that supports UPI AutoPay and card e-mandates, such as Razorpay or Cashfree. Customers authorize the mandate once, and later charges follow RBI rules, including extra authentication above a set limit. Build reminders, failed payment retries and grace periods into the product so churn from payment failures stays low.

Do you have experience building your own SaaS products?

Yes. Alongside client work, Nexzem runs its own SaaS products: NexEats for restaurant QR ordering, NexChat for WhatsApp chatbots and campaigns, NexEduHub for schools and coaching institutes, and NexCall for AI voice agents. Running them ourselves means we deal with billing, support, uptime and feature requests first-hand, and we bring those lessons to client products.

Can an Indian SaaS product be sold to customers in the US and Europe?

Yes, and many are. Plan for international card billing, tax settings per country, hosting regions near your customers, GDPR-ready data handling and security documentation that buyers request. Building these into the architecture early is far easier than retrofitting them when the first large deal arrives.
