Cloud Services, built around how the United Arab Emirates works

Data residency drives many UAE cloud decisions. Health data generally has to stay in the UAE, financial regulators set expectations for outsourcing and data location, and government entities often require in-country hosting. AWS, Microsoft Azure and Oracle run cloud regions inside the UAE, so most workloads can stay local. Nexzem designs, migrates and operates these environments for UAE clients from India, sharing almost all of your working day.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi government work adds local security requirements, such as standards from the Dubai Electronic Security Center and the UAE's information assurance standards, and some entities use national sovereign cloud providers rather than global ones. We build portable infrastructure as code so a workload can move between providers when procurement requires it. This is general information, not legal advice.

Choosing a UAE region and provider

AWS's UAE region, Azure UAE North in Dubai and UAE Central in Abu Dhabi, and Oracle's Dubai and Abu Dhabi regions offer different service catalogs, so we check that every managed service you need, such as Kubernetes, managed databases or AI services, is available locally before committing. Where a service is missing, we design an equivalent or keep that component outside the UAE only if your data rules allow it.

For disaster recovery, providers with two UAE regions let both copies stay in-country, while a single-region design relies on multiple availability zones plus protected backups. We document the recovery objectives either way.

Security, access and DevOps from India

Administrative access from India is a cross-border data question under the PDPL and free zone laws, so we document it, keep production access just-in-time and work only on synthetic data outside production. What we put in place:

  • Landing zones with separate accounts for production, staging and shared services
  • Privileged access through your identity provider with MFA and session logging
  • Encryption keys held in your own key management service
  • Centralized logging with retention set to your regulator's expectations
  • CI/CD pipelines that deploy only from reviewed pull requests
  • Cost tagging and monthly FinOps reviews

What our cloud services covers

Cloud architecture, migration, operations and cost control on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, delivered by one team.

  1. 01

    Cloud architecture design

Network layout, compute choices, storage tiers and failover planned around your traffic patterns, data rules and budget, then documented so any engineer can follow it.

  2. 02

    Infrastructure as code

Terraform templates for every environment, so staging and production match, changes go through review and a lost region can be rebuilt from version control.

  3. 03

    Cloud-native app development

Containerised services, serverless functions and managed databases built to scale with demand, instead of oversized servers sitting idle all night.

  4. 04

    Migration and modernisation

Move workloads from on-premise servers, shared hosting or another cloud with planned cutovers, data validation and a tested rollback path.

  5. 05

    Monitoring and alerting

Dashboards, log collection and alert rules that tell the right person about real problems before customers notice, without flooding inboxes with noise.

  6. 06

    Backup and disaster recovery

Automated snapshots, cross-region copies and documented restore drills, so recovery time and acceptable data loss are known numbers rather than guesses.

  7. 07

    Cost management

Rightsizing, reserved capacity planning, storage lifecycle rules and tagging that shows which product or client is driving each line of the bill.

How a project runs

Clear stages with a review at the end of each, so you always know what happens next and what it costs.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

We learn about your product, users, compliance needs and current setup, then agree on goals such as uptime, release speed or lower cost.

  2. 02

    Assessment

Our engineers review existing infrastructure, code and bills to find risks, waste and quick wins, and share the findings in plain language.

  3. 03

    Architecture and plan

You receive a target design, timeline and a fixed quote or team plan, with trade-offs explained so you can decide with confidence.

  4. 04

    Build and deploy

We write infrastructure as code, set up pipelines and move workloads in stages, testing each step before production traffic arrives.

  5. 05

    Operate and improve

Monitoring, patching and monthly cost reviews keep the platform healthy, with a clear handover pack if your own team takes over.

The stack behind it

Proven, well-supported tools chosen for your scale, budget and team, never for novelty.

  • AWS
  • Azure
  • Google Cloud
  • Terraform
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes

Cloud Services in UAE, answered

Something else on your mind? Ask a consultant and get a reply within one business day.

Can our health app be hosted in the UAE?

Yes. Health workloads can run entirely in UAE cloud regions, including databases, file storage, backups and logs. Dubai Health Authority and Abu Dhabi Department of Health requirements add controls on access and auditing, which we build into the environment and document for your licensing or audit process.

AWS, Azure or Oracle for a UAE company?

Azure suits organizations already on Microsoft 365 and offers two UAE regions; AWS has a broad catalog and a large partner ecosystem; Oracle fits workloads built on Oracle databases or applications. Service availability in UAE regions often decides it. Our AWS vs Azure comparison covers the general differences.

Can you migrate us from a local data center?

Yes. We inventory workloads, map dependencies and plan a staged move with replication and a tested rollback, scheduling cutovers outside your peak periods, including Ramadan hours where relevant. Afterwards, managed cloud services can cover monitoring, patching and cost reviews.
